The Cogs, Valdarno's secondo and only rock'n'roll band, are a low profile project grown in Tuscany area, an Italian region known, as well as for its wine, for being particularly resistant to devil's music and live concerts.

In this gloomy atmosphere, they started playing
their musical formula based on garage '60, punk '77 and lofi
rock'n'roll around 2007...that means fast and catchy tunes
played to the max. Think to a melting pot of early Makers and Cynics
mixed to high energy of New Bomb Turks and
Teengenerate with less international tours behind.

In spite of some lineup changes and a few moments of
low activity, they never stopped playing and they succeeded
also to publish some records like "White Boy White Girl",
their second album.

Recorded during covid summer in their rehearsal room,
It tooks more than two years to those eleven tracks to get out
as a proof of Cogs's incompetence in self-promotion.

They play a raw garage-punk, with a simple direct approach, tryin' to be energetic and aggressive as the Sonics and keeping' in mind the the lesson of '77 punk and lo-fi rock and roll of the ninenties.
